SOLD
Thanks to all of you have visited my Ebay auctions. It has been a success and I will continue to post new pieces. "Rocky Shore" oil on linen, 6"x6" was painted on the shore in Palos Verdes, CA. This particular beach is covered in rocks and I love to paint rocks. It was an overcast day which brought out beautiful tones in the rocks and created a fabulous mood to the overall painting. Check out this painting on Ebay.

Hi Frank, What a nice treat to get your Blog. I have been down for the count, 2 weeks. Broke my leg while painting on Santa Cruz Island. Leigh

Thanks Leigh,

Take care of that leg so you can get out there soon. Nice paintings too! Best regards.

I love this painting! I just finished an artist residency in Acadia National Park in Maine. I was frustrated with the rocks, many, many rocks. By the end I was closer to understanding how to create rocks with more simplification, even if it didn't quite show!
