"Birch Trees on the Baltic" is a 5"x7" Study I did while in
Sweden on a painting trip. This place was just stunning and I
stayed minutes from everything paintable. Fortunately,
I had good friends who gave me a bed and great Swedish
hospitality. Can't wait to go back! This painting is available on

I just saw a great exhibit at the Santa Barbara
Historical Museum. It is called America's Granduer
and showcases the talent of one of my favorite artists
Clyde Aspevig. Go see it! It is there till February.

This is a painting available at my show at Maureen Murphy Fine Arts. I
painted this while on an outing with friends in the hills above
Santa Barbara. It is looking towards the ocean on a beautiful
afternoon.

"Fog in the Harbor"*

I just painted this in Morro Bay . It was early morning around 8
and the mist from the large waves just outside the break
were creating this moisture that just shrouded the scene in a
light fog. I tell ya, nothing is better for the soul, than to get
out and paint!
