I can only imagine how much you had to edit out in this in order to have it read well. This is a great lesson showing how to think in masses and I love the small highlights in the focal area, it's just enough detail without going overboard. Would you say that less is more is a good rule to follow in cityscapes?

It always interests me that good paintings are always painted with a variety of grays. The blue and the green are the only more chromatic colours in this piece, but the grays really tell the story.
