"Fog in the Harbor"*
I just painted this in Morro Bay . It was early morning around 8
and the mist from the large waves just outside the break
were creating this moisture that just shrouded the scene in a
light fog. I tell ya, nothing is better for the soul, than to get
out and paint!

Beautiful piece full of atmosphere. I live near a fishing village on the Canadian west coast,so I am familiar with those foggy damp days. Great stuff

When I first saw the thumbnail I was thinking oohh, Franks got a watercolor thing going on gotta check that out. Nope, it's oil, but its really nice looking. I like the composition and the story that goes with it. Did you hear any bells ckinging around when the fog rolled in?

That pathway looks so inviting doesn't it. It almost makes you want to walk down it to see what else you can see and paint. Very tempting.
